Job Overview: The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the ongoing development and follow through of corporate sales activities, working collaboratively with the sales team in efforts to achieve maximum profitability and growth as established by our company’s vision and objectives, and establishing plans and strategies to expand our client base. The ideal candidate must be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated, a team player, and will have GPS tracking solution, mobile telematics, or telecommunication sales related experience. Experience selling products to the Oil & Gas industry will be a significant benefit. Duties include but not limited to: •Maintaining and increase client base by renewing and opening sales contracts •Daily calls and emails to prospective clients •Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients and dealers •Research potential sales opportunities with new sales leads and effectively following up on referrals and existing leads •Report sales activities and progress to the Chief Operating Officer or to the VP of Sales •Strive to build effective communication, to understand training and developmental needs, and providing insights on improvement •Attend and participate in company meetings, travel conferences, or customer visits as needed Qualifications considered: •3 years inside or outside sales experience •Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals with little supervision •Strong problem solving and analytical skills •Superior verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills •Excellent computer and internet research skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office suite •Experience in using a customer relationship solution (CRM) •Experience in international sales and distribution channel development an asset Salary Range: Position is paid a base salary plus commission.
