| Distribution/Warehouse/Supplier-Branch Manager Trainee- In HVAC Industry Calgary Distribution/Warehouse/Supplier - HVAC industry- Branch Manager Trainee Calgary, AB This position will train in Calgary We are one of the largest manufacturers of residential and light commercial air conditioning, heating, and indoor air quality products and systems by focusing on just one thing—building the most reliable and refreshingly affordable indoor comfort products in the market. Building our products to our founder’s standards, and protecting those products with some of the best limited warranties in the industry, has helped to make our company brand widely recognized as a leading brand in the residential and light commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry today. Summary This is a trainee program to prepare employees to become a Distribution/Warehouse Branch Manager in the heating and air conditoning industry. There is a high probability there will be a relocation involved in the training process as well as when the opportunity arises to become a Manager. The position will be responsible for learning all job functions and procedures at the branch. The Branch Manager Trainee will be reporting to the Branch Manager. Overall Responsibilities include: • Providing professional quality customer service to our internal and external customers. • The protection and growth of Company assets, including: customers, inventory, Accounts Receivable, human assets, cash, building, equipment and vehicles. • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the branch and to ensure that duties are being completed on a daily basis and in a timely manner and per safety policies. • Assist the branch manager in supporting branch functions. • Learning how to service customers at the counter: processing sales/orders via phone/computer/in person, processing payments, balancing money drawer, resolving customer concerns, process warranty claims, report damaged goods, process scrap • Learning the roles of the warehouse personnel: Operate the forklift to load/unload parts, receive and ship orders, inventory and cycle counts of supplies/parts, driving the truck as needed for deliveries • Ensure that the facility is clean, safe and operational and that the product is properly and safely stored. Competencies (Skills and Abilities) • Customer Service skills • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Proficiency is MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Qualifications/Education/Certifications • College or University Degree or 2 year technical degree. • Management experience is a plus. • 6 months to 1 year work experience.
