Account Manager Sales

Position: Account Manager Sales



Location: Edmonton, Alberta


PURPOSE:

· Sell and promote our company services to commercial customers

· Primary focus is on the development of new business and building relationships with an existing customer base

· Act as liaison between the customer and our Departments when required

· Work closely with the our Agencies and Departments to ensure all customer expectations are being met

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Solicit new revenue opportunities from new and existing users

· Maintain and increase revenue opportunities from the top charge account customers in an assigned territory

· Make regularly scheduled appointments and develop affinity between our company and customers

· Meet and exceed monthly revenue quota (assigned as per Sales Manager

· Submit accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as Customer Contact files

· Work closely with regional sales, operations and agency teams, ensuring revenue opportunities are maximized

· Comply with all corporate policies and procedures

· Work in an office environment, with travel throughout the assigned region



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business
· Strong communicator
· Self-starter, highly motivated
· Minimum one-year courier and/or freight sales experience (preferred)
· University degree or college diploma in Business (asset)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
· Experience with CRM, preferably Sales Force (Com preferred)
