| Screen Cleaners Cascades Recovery Inc., one of North America's largest recycling companies with operations throughout Canada and the Northeast United States, has an immediate opening for Screen Cleaners in their Maintenance Department to be based at its facility located in Calgary. Reporting to the Lead Screen Cleaner this position is responsible for implementing the organization's policies and safety procedures and assist in the overall maintenance of machinery in the Calgary Plant. Some of the roles and responsibilities of the position include: 1. Perform the required cleaning for all stationary and mobile plant equipment at the Calgary Plant. 2. Assist the lead screen cleaner when required to maintain, overhaul and repair all plant equipment in the Calgary Plant. 3. Monitor and control cleaning supply levels and job completion status to ensure proper documentation is maintained. 4. Assist lead screen cleaner with any major repairs or overhauls and installations as required. 5. Follows up with leads and supervisors to ensure consistency and compliance in all repairs, modifications, fixes and fabrications. 6. Operate mobile equipment as required. 7. Be able to pull materials off the screens and be able to work in dusty and loud environments. The successful candidate: • Will possess a mechanical aptitude. • Should have a good knowledge of mechanical components. • Must be able to work well in an unsupervised environment and as part of a project team. • Should have good troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability. • Must be well organized. • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills. • Should have basic computer knowledge. • Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work. • Must have some mechanical training • Must have their own Transportation and be available for afternoon shifts.
