| Diesel Mechanic Diesel Service Technicians are needed in our Prince George location We have exciting permanent career opportunities based out of our Price George Branch for experienced Service Technicians working with Heavy Trucking Sector. Experience in the relevant industry & owning your own tools is required for the position our diverse product lines include, successful roll in the BC business community for over 35 years. We are pleased to be a dealer for Western Star and Sterling trucks. With five Branches and two Associate outlets we cover the province of BC, with the exception of Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. We also hold the franchise for Superior Trailers and the very versatile Unimog All of our staff takes tremendous pride in what we sell and service. The ideal applicant will have over two years experience as a Heavy Truck technician performing diagnostics and repairs with Welding Background Preferred. Candidates are required to deliver quality customer service over the phone regarding truck maintenance. Candidates must be conscious of all safety aspects, with an ability to produce top quality work. To be considered for this role, you must have strong customer service, computer, listening, interpersonal/communication skills with a strong mechanical aptitude. Consideration will be given to candidates with 3rd year apprenticeship to Journeyman status in one of the above technical trades. A positive commitment to customer service, pride in workmanship and a desire to grow with an aggressive company are all requirements of joining our team. You will be joining an established team of individuals in a well equipped facility able to handle all types of repairs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a large fleet environment or in a dealership setting and will be considered a strong asset.
