| Civil Engineer - project planning, proposal development and project coordination / administration OVERVIEW: Great opportunity to join an international Civil Engineering project company with key operations in Calgary. Play a key role in the planning and delivery numerous Civil Engineering projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact with customers to define the technical requirements of projects. Customer site visits in the local Calgary area Interact with internal design engineers regarding the design requirements and technical specifications. Maintain project documentation. Ensure that project designs meet the clients original design requirements. Make technical presentations to corporate clients. Prepare and present lunch an learn sessions on new technologies or standards. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: P.Eng. or EIT preferably in Civil Engineering; Will consider candidates without a P.Eng and 3-5 years comparable experience in the Geo-technical field. 3-5 years work experience in a similar role. Experience in Structural or Geotechnical engineering is an asset. Experience gathering technical requirements. Experience crafting and presenting technical Civil proposals. Project coordination or project administration would be an asset. Must be very well organized Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills. OTHER INFORMATION: Candidates must have Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency status. No relocation is available and only local residents will be considered at this time.
