Senior Pipeline Engineer Qualifications: • Registered Professional Engineer in Alberta with APEGGA • Knowledgeable in CSA Z662 code and other supporting codes • Excellent knowledge of engineering requirements for oil and gas pipeline systems • Proficient in both spoken and written English • Has the ability to develop technical reports and documents with minimal supervision Responsibilities: • Working closely with other pipeline engineers and clients to complete conceptual and detailed design of onshore cross country pipelines in Canada. • The work will include the generation of technical reports, pipeline drawings (mechanical and civil), and supporting calculations for the detailed engineering phase of pipeline development. • Knowledge of the various design codes and state of the art pipeline approaches including high pressure systems, high yield pipe components, stress calculations, pressure testing, buoyancy control, etc. is required.
