Contract Installer - Telecom This is a 6 month contract to install RTU panels at various rural locations either in Alberta or around Winnipeg. Skills Needed: 1. Good knowledge of CAT6 cabling , wiring and testing especially straight thru and crossover wiring 2. Good knowledge of cabling and terminating misc equipment to distribution fuse panels 3. Good knowledge of DSX terminations (using wirewrapping tools or punchdown tools) 4. Good knowledge wiring misc types of connectors(eg DB9,DB15) to various types of cable. 5. Good knowledge of cable testing and troubleshooting procedures 6. Knowledge of interfacing a laptop computer to various equipment for access to that equipment using Hyperterminal, Procomm or the manufacturers specific access software. Pay is $30 an hour for contractors or $25 for employees, plus Per Diem.
