The Operations Supervisor would be responsible for managing the day to day operation including: dock, dispatch unit, driver and fleet maintenance, supervising, scheduling, and documentation while ensuring a time sensitive delivery of products in 4 Western Provinces.

This is a Monday to Friday position, however flexibility is required.

* Directly managing, training, leading the 24 hour dispatch department along with the dock and logistics team.
* Provide daily reports to senior management
* Monitor and ensure the documentation process is being maintained between customer service, dispatch, dock, administration, and management.
* Maintain control of company assets (Cell phone, scanners, truck equipment, etc.)
* Ensuring all customer and delivery requirements are met


QUALIFICATIONS /REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma is required along with forklift certification or equivalent experience, WHMIS and TDG. The successful applicant will have good computer skills (Excel, Word), and have a background in the transportation industry (Dock and Dispatch). We are also looking for candidate who demonstrates superb organizational skills and possesses an eye for detail.
