| District Manager District Manager We continue to grow our business and are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic District Manager to join our team in Edmonton, AB. You will ensure that they meet their maximum potential by providing outstanding service, selection, convenience and value. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Ensure outstanding customer service levels to both external and internal customers through program execution, training and communication. • Conduct effective, structured and timely store visits. • Effectively manage a team of Store Managers in the execution of human resources programs through proactive succession planning, employee relations, recruitment, training, development and evaluation of qualified store associates. • Analyze and communicate district financial data (weekly, monthly and yearly) to ensure revenue growth while controlling costs and managing inventory. • Manage District budget to drive profitability. • Ensure District stores comply and execute company policies and procedures including human resources, loss prevention, safety, marketing and merchandising programs. • Coordinate/facilitate the opening of new stores as well as oversee store closures and appropriate disposal of company assets as required. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: • Post-secondary education in business an asset. • Minimum 3-5 years’ management experience in a retail, entertainment or hospitality industry. • Minimum 2 years multi-unit experience as a District Manager. • Strong verbal and written communications skills. • Demonstrated leadership and people development skills. • Excellent organization and administrative skills. • Strong analytical skills relating to P&L efficiencies. • PC skills, Microsoft Office. • Valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle. • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends We are an equal opportunity employer committed to workforce diversity | |
