This position provides assistance related to the storage and distribution of goods and material in support of both operations and projects for ATCO Electric. The successful candidate must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors under a wide variety of conditions. Commitment to ATCO Electric’s HS&E policies and the use of appropriate PPE is required.

Duties include:
•Perform routine warehouse operation activities such as receiving, picking, shipping materials, stocking shelves and putting stock away.
•Perform data entry associated with issuing of inventory.
•Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
•Assist in ensuring inventory replenishment occurs on a timely basis.
•Assist in ensuring inventory accuracy is maximized through monitoring, analysis and investigation of discrepancies.
•Participate as required for cycle counts of physical inventory.
•Perform administrative and related duties as required.
•Assist in reviewing storage locations and inventory levels at service points
•May be required to work away from home base to assist other warehouse locations.

Qualifications:
●Grade 12 diploma.
●At least 1 year related working warehousing experience.
●Working knowledge of MS WORD and MS EXCEL.
●Proficiency and knowledge of Oracle is preferred.
●Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
●Current certification in TDG and WHMIS is preferred.
●Valid vehicle operator’s license, class 5, and be prepared to take additional AMA driving courses to meet ATCO Electric standards.
●Experience with forklift operation or willingness to obtain forklift operator certification required
●A Warehousing Technical Certificate is preferred but candidates willing to commit to obtaining training will be considered.
●Current certification Standard First Aid, TDG and WHMIS is preferred.
