| Piping Integrity Technician Responsibilities: - Responsible for monitoring erosion/piping spool replacements, piping modification project management, and pipeline integrity management - Input project lists with estimated costs on annual basis to load into the maintenance budget and help to maintain budgets - Responsible for a variety of tasks involved in implementing piping changes to JPM including: reviewing proposed plant change requests (PCR), taking field measurements, inputting field measurements into computer design program (i.e. AutoCAD), updating the existing JPM ISO drawings for all changes to all piping spools/piping support, enlist the help of the piping engineer as required, then prepare a construction work package for the piping modifications - Interface with reliability analyst (who has gathered and analyzed piping wear data) to align risks and threats to existing piping and help with the prioritization of work - Ensure CWPs receive the required signatures and that piping work is entered onto the project list with the required documentation in place in order to ensure work will proceed in a timely manner Requirements: - Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full time basis for anyone other than current employer - No "fly in, fly out" option is offered with this position. Relocation to Fort McMurray is required - High School diploma and journeyman’s certification - 10 – 15 years of related experience - Experience in pipeline integrity projects such as in-line inspection, hydrotesting, and direct assessment methods, erosion control and inspection - Detailed knowledge of pipeline operations, and piping codes and repair/fabrication procedures - Functional working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, computer design programs, JDE and/or SAP - Proficiency in English, both written and verbal - Dedicated to facing the challenge of commissioning and start-up - Required to be self-starter who is innovative, creative and strategic - Sound decision making ability based on experience and technical skills to support maintenance/reliability team - Strong organizational and effective time management skills - Flexibility in managing changing priorities and ability to work with minimum supervision - Fully functional working in a team environment is essential We are celebrating almost a century of operations in Canada.
