| Mixed Farmer (Experienced) Anticipated Start Date: 2009/11/15 Location: Scandia, Alberta (1 vacancy) Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university Credentials: Driver's licence Experience: 5 years or more Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Type of Farm Operations: Mixed, Grain, oil seed, forage crop, Livestock Type of Equipment: Swather or combine, Tractor, Truck, Seed drill, Fertilizer applicator, Irrigation system, Feeding and watering system, Manure handling or storage system Specific Skills: Purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies, Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings, Plant, cultivate and harvest crops Security and Safety: Criminal record check Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail Work Site Environment: Outdoors Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle Work Location Information: Rural area Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing Other: Self starter with mechanical ability, beef cattle, animal health, irrigation & welding experience.
