JOB OPPORTUNITY: Digital video system integration / field service engineer.

* HOT NOTE: 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE (Yakima WA, Edmonton Canada, Los Angeles CA). Relocation benefits available (depending on experience and need).

* FOCUS-AREA REQUIREMENTS (Please read carefully):
- Candidates MUST have experience with digital video systems including equipment such as digital video settop boxes, satellite systems, encoders, multiplexers, head-end equipment, conditional access (security) and digital video servers.
- Candidates should also have hands-on integration, testing, or deployment experience with digital video systems and be comfortable debugging and resolving equipment and software issues.
- Knowledge MPEG is assumed. DVB, IPTV, DSM-CC, network engineering (IP/Cisco), UNIX/Linux administration and scripting, and ISA Digital Cable Architecture experience are major pluses.
- Particularly seeking experience integrating and configuring Motorola, Scientific Atlanta, Tandberg, DVB or Satellite headends and equipment, or IPTV Systems.
- Candidates should have experience installing, testing, and operating digital video equipment in the video / network path.

* JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is seeking Digital video systems integration engineer / field service engineer (or advanced technician) to support major digital video clients on-site. The individual will install, configure, debug, monitor and troubleshoot all digital video systems equipment, handle upgrades, work with vendors, and assure system quality.

* LOCATION INFO / RELO: 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE Yakima WA (a gorgeous mid-size city near Mount Rainier National Park), Edmonton Canada (2nd largest city in Canada - called the "Gateway to the North" with great sporting and cultural opportunities), and Los Angeles CA (Hollywood and Sunshine... need I say more?).
