The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of large infrastructure projects and programs exceeding the $100M range.

If you are an experienced Project Manager, who has demonstrated initiative and skills in overcoming challenges of successfully delivering complex projects involving rigorous stakeholder and regulatory oversight, this is the perfect position for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project leadership, working closely with internal and external experts including regulatory, land, environment specialist and engineering from conceptual scoping through project completion. The Senior Project Manager is a key interface with industrial and other utility customers, including AESO and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of project strategies, and be accountable for project approvals, cost, quality, schedule and safety.

Qualifications:

Considered assets are:
- P Eng registered with APEGGA or another provincial engineering association
- Technical experience with a high voltage electrical transmission field
- Project Management Certification

Considered a must have:
- 10+ years proven project management experience; including leadership of complex infrastructure projects which include the regulatory process and significant public and other stakeholder interest
- Strong facilitator and problem solving skills
- Experience managing EPC Contractors
- Capability to build, manage and guide a multi-discipline team including directly assigned staff and part-time support staff
