| Legal Assistant Triple Five, West Edmonton Mall’s Head Office, is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant assists the corporate legal counsel in the execution of their duties by conducting research, preparing legal documents and maintaining files and records, while performing various administrative duties. The primary responsibilities of this position include performing various general office duties such as responding to telephone inquiries, processing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling appointments and meetings, greeting visitors and managing calendars, researching case law and legislation, drafting legal documents, setting up and maintaining filing systems, preparing corporate filings, incorporations, annual returns, revivals, and resolutions, and registration of corporations and on-line registrations/searches (CORES). The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working as a Legal Assistant in the field of corporate and commercial law, have a diploma in a Legal Assistant program or a Degree with a concentration in Law, exhibit professionalism and business etiquette, have a demonstrated ability in the use of standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and have previous experience completing registrations at a corporate registry (Cores Level 2 desired). The salary range for this position is $35,000-$42,500, depending on experience and qualifications, and comes with a benefits package.
