Our Client, a prestigious nationwide full service Law Firm, has asked us for assistance in seeking two (2) Associates - one with eight (8) to ten (10) years of strong litigation experience and one with three (3) to six (6) years of similar experience, to join its commercial litigation practice group in Calgary. Oil and gas and electricity litigation as well as corporate litigation, bankruptcy, commercial leases and traditional litigation are among the several practice areas that the candidates must possess expertise with. LAWYER (8 - 10 years experience) Must possess a strong academic background, preferably from a top tier Law School. The successful candidate should have experience working in fast-paced work environment, be detail-oriented and possess leadership and teaching abilities as well as excellent communication, research and writing skills. Facilitating strong Client relationships and the ability to “produce” are two other prime requirements. You will be part of a solid team of partners and are able to work autonomously with major responsibilities in handling complex matters. Training and mentoring junior Associates will be part of your duties. LAWYER (3 - 6 years experience) Must be a strong academic background, preferably from a top tier Law School is required. The successful candidate should have experience working in fast-paced work environment. You need to be detail oriented, with superior research, writing, drafting and analytical skills. You will be called upon to assist with all levels of litigation.
