| (CL1009) LEGAL ASSISTANT – FIRM FLOATER – COMMERCIAL / CIVIL LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT – FIRM FLOATER – COMMERCIAL / CIVIL LITIGATION LOCATION: Calgary, Alberta SALARY: $38K - $45K, commensurate with experience BENEFITS: Full benefits package is included YOU MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION Our esteemed Client is seeking a Legal Assistant/Firm Floater for its commercial/civil litigation department of its Calgary office. This Firm Floater position requires a Legal Assistant with two (2) to five (5) years of experience in commercial / civil litigation, with strong oil and gas litigation knowledge. Corporate and construction law knowledge is an asset. Superior computer technical skills, Dictaphone experience and typing ability of a minimum of 75 WPM are required. You must be a team player. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing assistance to Lawyers and Paralegals, which may involve client contact, dictaphone transcription, preparing general correspondence, scheduling of client appointments. You will interact with clients, co-workers and others as necessary to perform job duties. Positive and effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required and are a high priority in this position.
