Service Project Manager

This role will provide the successful candidate with valuable skills and experience as well as the opportunity to be a part of the future of Industry. We are searching for a Project Manager for a large Engineering Company.
Accountabilities:
• Plan, organize direct and control the work of the project team members through all phases of the project life cycle
• Guide the team in the execution of the project, by ensuring that all deliverables are completed to meet the project’s objectives and user requirements
• Plan and direct all aspects of the project including planning, scheduling, resourcing, risk assessment, cost/benefit analyses, establishing milestones, deliverables and budgets
• Coordinate and direct all functional groups involved with a project, in order to meet the project requirements (time, functionality, quality and cost)
• Responsible for formulation, management and tracking of project plans including work breakdown structures, timelines, resource planning, training plans and any other related contractual milestones or plan
• Conduct regular project reviews to effectively manage deliverables
• Assess on-going risk and work in collaboration with the Change Management Team Lead to mitigate risks
• Act as primary contact point for system roll-out in order to facilitate efficient communications and pro-active problem identification and resolution;
• Analyze and make recommendations on projects, considering project functionality, cost, schedule and quality
• Ensure all stakeholder groups are being provided with timely and accurate project information
• Define, forecast, manage, and report on project resources (people, capital, expenses)
• Analyze and manage project changes, including design/scope change requests
• Provide support and mentoring to team leaders to promote project management skills and experience
• Track all decisions made regarding requests for change, identified risks and outstanding items
• Plan and participate in synergy group meetings
• Provide leadership in promoting, identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to processes within the scope of the project
• Track, monitor, and communicate project progress against the project plan, requirements, quality measures, standard processes, and milestones. Ensure timely delivery of regular project status updates to the Program Director and Steering Committee
• Prepare presentations to IT Management and IT Steering Committee as required
• Travel within our member hospitals is required
Required Experience:
• Extensive experience in full life cycle of project management, including planning, budgeting, estimating, design, configuration, testing and implementation
• Experience with supply chain and/or finance transformation
• Strong knowledge of computer applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including report writing and presentations
• Strong facilitation and team leadership skills
• Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills
Education:
• University degree in a relevant field preferred
• Engineering association membership preferred
