| Airport General Manager General Manager for an Airport based out of Western Canada. The candidate must serve as a Front Line Manager and lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of a high level customer focused services. As the GM you will have broad, overall responsibility for the regional business. You will have overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of the company's income statement (Profit and Loss). The GM will oversee the firm's regional marketing and sales functions as well as the day to day operations of the business. The GM is also responsible for leading or coordinating the strategic planning of the region. The role is a combination of Relationship Management, Operations and Business Development with an evolving institutional environment with a large number of stakeholders/constituents. We are looking for a results focused individual who can set the standard for other municipalities. Characteristics: •Must have previous or current Aviation experience. •Leadership abilities. •Minimum of 10-15 years experience. •Strategic thinker. •Tactical planner. •Human Resources experience. •Would like to have someone who has experience in working in a unionized environment. •University degree preferred - equivalencies considered. •Competitive salary with benefits package. | |
