DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You are responsible for assisting with the recruitment activities of location specific positions including local Class One Fuel Haulers and Team Drivers. This includes, but is not limited to:
o Liaising with RTL Yellowknife (YK) regarding potential candidates for Edmonton Terminal as found in the company resume database and centralized e-mail account
o Correspondence, document collection and interviewing of aforementioned candidates and local applicants
o Applicant tracking of local walk-ins and faxed applications
o Liaising with RTL YK regarding recruitment advertising needs for RTL Edmonton
• Arrange pre-employment medical and substance testing appointments for RTL Edmonton
• RTL Edmonton Contact for all new hires – distribute new hire packages, Fatigue Management questionnaire and employee benefits
• Data entry as required by HR and/or Safety Department
• Coordination of safety training
• Upkeep of the driver’s employee files
• Report generation as required by HR and/or Safety Department

The INDIVIDUAL and QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years’ post-secondary education in related field or equivalent experience working in Administrative Support capacity;
• Experience in transportation or construction industry would be an asset;
• Well organized, detail oriented and enthusiastic with a roll up your sleeves attitude towards work;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently;
• Capable of handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database programs;
• Active communication and listening skills are essential
• Pre-employment medical/substance test
