OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loads and unloads dishwashing machine with dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans. Sorts and stacks all dishware in storage units and on trolleys.

Dishwashing
· Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
· Breaks down trays, sets up dish machine, washes dishware, and sorts and stores all clean china, glass and silver into proper storage units.
· Empties trash cans and recycling bins and washes inside and outside.
· Ensures all boxes and food scraps are properly recycled.
· Cleans dock area thoroughly.
· Breaks down dish machine; cleans inside and outside on a consistent basis.
· Operates equipment safely and according to policy.
· Cleans all breakdown tables.
· Cleans tile walls and baseboards.
· Assures that all paper towel and soap dispensers are stocked fully.
· Delivers large containers/bins to the kitchen.
· Changes water in machine every three hours.
· Fills pot sinks according to SGS.
· Sorts silver for burnishing.
· Sweeps and mops all refrigerators before end of shift.
· Changes water in dish machine every 3 hours.
· Understands MSDS sheets and the handling of all chemicals.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

§ High school or College diploma is an asset, 1-2 years experience required
