Designer/Graphic Designer

One Up is a new company, set to officially launch in September 2010. We are currently seeking a designer who will work closely with our Creative Director and President to develop a seasonal men's/women's sports apparel line that is both functional and fashion forward. The designer will believe and thoroughly articulate the mission of the company through their designs to produce a collection that reflects the vision of the brand.



The appropriate candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualifications:



- Self-motivated

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills

- Extremely creative

- Team player

- Minimum of 2 -5 years experience in the garment industry

- Degree/Diploma in fashion and/or textiles related field

- Ability to accurately sketch by hand

- Ability to manufacture samples if required



- Ability to generate designs on the computer is an asset.
