| Senior Project Manager Calgary 39un1001 WE REPRESENT SOME OF WESTERN CANADA’S LARGEST & MID-SIZE GENERAL CONTRACTORS IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER IN CALGARY/EDMONTON!!! We are working with a dominant player within the General Contracting Industry. They are a fast growing Construction Firm taking charge of the ICI, Healthcare and Infrastructure industry and looking for solid players to join their team in Edmonton and Calgary to assist in their growth. They are currently seeking to bring aboard a Senior Project Manager. Our client offers its employees the chance to be a part of some of the most exciting and challenging Healthcare, Industrial, Institutional and Infrastructure projects under construction today. The individual would ideally have 7+ years in the construction industry. We are looking for strong talent that oozes leadership skills, is ready to take their careers to the next level and always had a desire to be a part of a strong, winning and influential team. Competitive Salary and Benefits Package Project Experience: • Hospitals • Schools • High Rise Buildings • Recreation Buildings • Industrial Plants Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules • Assure and maintain overall project site safety. • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors • Develop and implement quality control programs • Represent company on matters such as business services. Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff Qualifications: • Five to ten years demonstrated experience in construction/ design/build in a leadership role • Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
