Experienced Sales Professional - Power Generation

Responsibilities;

• Prospecting and closing new clients within the companies core business (oil & gas, equipment rental)
• Increase revenue growth with existing client base by meeting with them on a regular basis and seeking new business opportunities
• Prepare and present quotes based on client needs, adhering to company guidelines on gross margin, product offering and quotation recording procedures
• Meeting and exceeding all assigned sales quotas
• Identifying and presenting to stakeholders new business opportunities
• Continually share industry market intelligence with all internal stakeholders
• Display exemplary customer service and support

Qualifications

• Mechanical / Electrical engineering background (diploma/degree) considered an asset
• 5+ years selling industrial engines / generator sets / diesel powered equipment, with strong connections within the companies target core businesses
• Strong collaborative team approach (internal & external) in identifying customer needs and tailoring custom solutions, within the guidelines of the companies product offering (consultative selling approach)
• High level of problem solving and negotiation skills
• Self starter, highly organized, results focused who can work part of a team and independently
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point)
