PRODUCTION Workers – No Experience required – Full training - $16 hr to start - Edmonton

We are an Edmonton, Alberta based ISO 9001 Certified manufacturer and international supplier of quality ground engaging tools for construction, mining and road maintenance industries.

We are currently recruiting for the following production operator positions within our Cutting, Heat Treatment and Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) departments in our Edmonton, Alberta manufacturing facility.

We are seeking hard working, hands-on, mechanically inclined people to join our team to be trained in one of the following job roles:

Cutting: Using NC controlled multi and single head oxy-fuel cutting machines to shape and bevel products from several grades of heat treatable bar and plate steel.
Heat Treatment: Using walking beam furnaces, and batch ovens to quench and temper finished product. Secondary process involves straightening, painting and labeling of customer specific products.
CNC: CNC involves machining parts using horizontal milling centers from HAAS and DMG. Cutting bar product with NC controlled Hydmek saws and using hydraulic punches.

Experience that would be considered an asset but not mandatory would be:
o Exposure to a production facility
o Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes
o Understanding of blueprints, geometric tolerances and metallurgy
o Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement

We currently run our operations 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Therefore, candidates must be flexible to work morning, afternoon and night shifts.
