| Microsoft BI Consultant Title: Microsoft BI Consultant The position will require a person to design, develop, test and deploy Microsoft BI solutions for Business & Decision clients across the financial services sector. Installation of BI products and conducting demonstrations during sales efforts may also be required. Occasionally responsible for gathering business requirements, specifying technical architecture and daily project management. Requirements include: * 4 - 6 years of experience developing Business Intelligence solutions with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack * 4-6 years consulting background * Extensive experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture. * Analytical approach to problem solving * A passion for learning new technologies * Familiarity with database centric applications * Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. * Proficient problem solver, with ability to acquire new skills quickly and thrive in a collaborative team environment * Data Warehousing and Data Modeling, specifically building / understanding star schema based data marts Technical experience required: * SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) * SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) * SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Experience preferred: * Microsoft BI certification | |
